Operations Manager

Layne is looking for an Operations Manager who’s excited about empowering individuals to buy and sell their used cars themselves.

Key responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CEO to grow Layne’s business and operations

  • Take the lead on developing and managing customer relationships to aggressively grow Layne’s user base

  • Implement new features to significantly improve the car buying and selling experience of private buyers and sellers

  • Provide user support and analyze their feedback in order to prioritize product improvement

  • Negotiate and implement new initiatives with external partners to support our users in the car selling and buying process

  • Recruit, develop and manage the team to support the operations

Key qualities/skills:

  • 3-5 years of previous experience and success in growing and building up business operations

  • A passion for solving customer problems in a creative and innovative way

  • An analytical mind that uses data to solve problems

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to perform a range of tasks required in building up a company

  • An effective communicator. Fluency in English and German required
